RICHARD C. PERRY, CIC, AAI: Mr. Perry is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Pinkney-Perry Insurance Agency, Inc. Mr. Perry directs the agency’s Corporate and Commercial sales and manages the day-to-day operations of the agency.

Prior to working at Pinkney-Perry, Mr. Perry was a marketing representative with E.F. Hutton in Dayton, Ohio, specializing in product research and development. Mr. Perry later worked as a Life Agent and Financial Planner with the Equitable Insurance Financial Service Company.

Mr. Perry is a graduate of Shaker Heights High School, in Shaker Heights, Ohio and also holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing from Central State University (Wilberforce, Ohio). He has earned the Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI) designation from the Insurance Institute of America. In addition, Mr. Perry holds the Certified Insurance Counselor designation. He is currently a representative on the “Agents Council” with the State Auto Insurance Company and a “Medallion” Agents Council Member with Zurich Small Business Insurance Company.

CHARLES B. PERRY, Chairman, is one of the founders of Pinkney-Perry Insurance Agency, Inc. Born and raised in the City of Cleveland. He is a graduate of the Cleveland Public School system. He served in the US military during the Korean conflict. After the Korean conflict, he was subsequently appointed to the nations Draft Board by President Lyndon B. Johnson. He attended Fenn College (now Cleveland State University) and Garfield Senior College. He later furthered his insurance training at the American College of Property & Casualty Underwriters and has been a licensed insurance agent for about fifty (50) years, working in the agency business for over forty-five (45) years.

Charles Perry has served on numerous Boards and Committees. Notably, he served for over nineteen (19) years on the Ohio Underwriting Association Board, which administered the Ohio Fair Plan. He served as Chairman of the Associations’ Claims Committee for several years.

Charles Perry is the proud recipient of several accolades and awards in recognition of his distinguished public service as well as recognitions in the field of insurance. Some of these include numerous citations from the State of Ohio and the City of Cleveland, in recognition of outstanding leadership, service and commitment to the Cleveland Regional Minority Purchasing Council; and a Leadership Legacy Award from the National Minority Supplier Development Council. In 1991, he was inducted into the Corporate Hall of Fame of the Ohio Assembly of Councils, in recognition of his tireless efforts and contributions to enrich the economic growth of the minority business community.

TYRONE MCGUINEA, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, of the Pinkney-Perry Insurance Agency, has been in the insurance field for over twenty-five (25) years. Mr. McGuinea is currently the Vice President (Individual & Group Benefits) at Pinkney-Perry Insurance Agency, Inc. His areas of expertise in the insurance industry are specifically but not limited to the group life and health benefits administration, with particular emphasis on Long Term Care insurance. He has worked with leading Long Term Care companies such as John Hancock, Allianz and GE Capital. He also has vast experience working in the Medicare and Medicaid markets.

Mr. McGuinea has a unique approach in the benefits insurance industry, having worked both at the company level as well as the agency level. Some notable companies he has been associated with are, Personal Physician Care, Kaiser Permanente, and Renaissance Health Plan.

Mr. McGuinea received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, with a Marketing Major, from Central State University, Wilberforce, Ohio.

PATRICIA L. W. BUTLER, Senior Vice President of the Pinkney-Perry Insurance Agency. Pat joined Pinkney Perry Insurance in 2001 as an account manager for the company’s public entity and risk management clients. She is a 35 plus year insurance professional, having worked 28 years in the New York City offices of two of the nation’s major insurance brokers (Marsh, USA and Aon Risk Managements Services –then known as Alexander & Alexander, Inc.). She was the first African-American to be appointed an officer (Assistant Vice President) of the Cleveland, Ohio office of Marsh USA.

Over her years in the insurance industry, Pat has been the insurance Account Executive (and/or) Account Manager for many of Ohio’s leading businesses. During the course of her career, Pat has taken many continuing education courses to improve her ability to counsel and service our major accounts.

NANCY J. HOLZ, CPA: Ms. Holz is the Treasurer and CFO of Pinkney-Perry Insurance Agency, Inc. and is responsible for the overall finances of the Agency.

Ms. Holz has 27 years experience in public and insurance accounting. She has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Accounting from the University of Dayton. She has been a Certified Public Accountant for 25 years. Prior to joining Pinkney-Perry Insurance Agency she was the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer of an accident and health insurance company. She also worked in Public Accounting for five years concentrating on small businesses and not for profit organizations.
